Summary
Our client is looking for a Jnr Sales person with experience in packaging (this is vital).
You can have been an “Internal sales” or “Junior Sales” or “Trainee Sales” or “Account executive” or “Sales coordinator”.
Tasks & responsibilities:
· Support the management of existing customers accounts, ensuring a professional and responsive service.
· Assist with identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
· Prepare and follow up on quotations, pricing requests and basic tenders in line with company procedures.
· Handle customer enquiries and resolve routine issues, escalating where appropriate
· Monitor competitor activity and market trends, feeding insights back to the wider Sales team.
· Participate in customer meetings, factory visits, and trade events as required.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards.
· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking and inbound enquiries.
· Understand customer requirements and present appropriate products or solutions.
· Represent the business professionally at meetings, events or site visits as required.
· Support departmental administration as required.
· Manage and maintain ERP system as required.
