Summary

We’re looking for a highly organised Planning Legal Support Officer to join our shared Planning Legal service on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis.



Supporting the Senior Planning Lawyer, you’ll play a key role in keeping planning legal processes running smoothly – managing emails and case files, preparing documents for signing and sealing, and acting as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.



What you’ll be doing

Managing inboxes, case records and key deadlines
Preparing and coordinating legal documents for signing and sealing
Supporting the production and distribution of legal documentation
Liaising with Planning officers, external solicitors and developers
Helping ensure documents and processes are accurate and compliant


What we’re looking for

Strong administrative and organisational experience
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Professional and discreet approach to handling information
Proficient in Microsoft 365


Experience in a legal, planning or local government setting is desirable but not essential.

This position is a shared role within the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP) and forms part of the S113 agreement between the participating partnership Councils in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement 1st October 2021.
