Summary
Liaise with professionals who are currently providing services to children and young people, such as those in primary care settings, childrens services, education and others. To raise awareness amongst professionals of the procedures for accessing CAMHS support for children and young people who are experiencing mental health or emotional distress. Utilise relevant research to inform own practice. Provide training and consultation to Tier 1 in order to facilitate appropriate referrals and provide better mental health provision amongst Tier 1 services. Maintain accurate records in accordance with CHS policy and procedure consistent with principles of patient confidentiality and data protection. Maintain up to date, accurate statistical information related to workload and contribute to data returns required by government departments. Participate in supervision and professional development activities as deemed necessary by the CHS
