Summary

Production Planner Manager

The Opportunity:

We need somebody who will take pride in working for a reputable British manufacturer, leading the Production Planning team in effectively carrying out all aspects of production planning and scheduling. This will involve leading a small team and working closely with the production and purchasing teams to ensure that the production plans are achieved within the timescales.

Job Responsibilities:

- Leading the Planning team to ensure they are productive, effective and working well as a team to a high standard, adapting to changes as necessary, and delivering excellent service.
- Using, maintaining and developing use of our key systems: Sage 1000, SIA and Preactor (scheduling) to generate and execute works orders for production in line with customer requirements.

Personal Attributes:

- The successful candidate will ideally have proven relevant experience in a manufacturing industry. Experience of Production planning using MRP and management of a team to deliver effective production plans is required.
- Experience of computerised stock control and purchase/sales order processing systems is
- You must be a team player with good communication skills, and a strong desire to foster continuous improvement.
