The Role
This is a mobile position covering Northamptonshire and surrounding counties, working across a varied client base including retail, hospitality, and specialist environments.
You will:
• Carry out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve faults on commercial refrigeration systems
• Support installation work when required
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
Equipment You’ll Work On
• Cold rooms
• Cellar cooling systems
• Ice machines
• Display units
• Commercial fridges & freezers
Essential Requirements
• Valid F-Gas certification (including hydrocarbon refrigerants)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration
• Proven experience working on a range of commercial refrigeration systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota (evenings/weekends)
Desirable (Not Essential)
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Experience with installation work
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles
• Knowledge of a variety of manufacturers’ equipment
