Summary

We have an amazing opportunity working alongside our Group CFO to deliver ad hoc strategic , technical and operational finance-led projects across the Onebright group.

About Our Opportunity

As the Group Project Accountant you will be supporting the Group CFO, and the Business Unit Finance Directors, with technical, operational and commercial, finance-led, cross-functional projects focused on improving business performance, strengthening processes, controls and reporting, and supporting continued profitable business growth.

You will review, identify and document improvements to accounting estimation methodologies, processes, financial processes ,controls (including taxes) and governance.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Strong practice trained background including audit experience and experience of non-audit work such as transaction services, corporate finance, business recovery or other financial/tax project type work
  • Circa 2 to 5 years post qualification, operating at Manager/Senior Manager level
  • Strong modelling and analytical skills (advanced Excel)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written – able to accurately and concisely convey the key findings and conclusion from work completed
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work directly with senior leadership
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace to deadlines with high attention to detail
  • Able to travel occasionally to group subsidiaries elsewhere in the UK and overseas
