Randstad Education is proud to partner with a high-achieving secondary school in Horsham to find a dedicated Economics Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a department that prides itself on academic excellence and student engagement. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Economics lessons, with a primary focus on A-Level students, helping them navigate complex theories, market dynamics, and global fiscal policies.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach stimulating Economics lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

Drive Achievement: Support students in achieving their target grades through effective assessment, feedback, and exam preparation.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum, ensuring it remains current and challenging.

Student Support: Act as a mentor and guide for students, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting independent thinking.

Collaborate: Work closely with the Social Sciences department to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications: A degree in Economics (or a related subject) and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.

Experience: Proven experience teaching Economics at the A-Level stage (ECTs are welcome to apply).

Communication: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex economic models.
