Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PCV Technician to join our team based in Blyth, Nottinghamshire, working on new Irizar coach and bus products across all models.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, pre-delivery Inspections (PDI) and repairs on new Irizar coaches, ensuring each vehicle is completed to the highest standard and ready for customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Inspections, PDI inspections, maintenance and repair on Irizar coaches and buses across the range.
Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales
Identify and complete all reports and documentation in a timely manner
Ensure all reported defects are repaired prior to vehicle delivery
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
Essential Experience & Requirements
Proven experience as a PCV Technician (essential) with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Qualified minimum of NVQ level 2 in PSV maintenance or experience of bus and coach engineering (evidence required)
Qualified EV technician (level 3) preferred but not essential (Training will be given)
IT literate and experience of using vehicle diagnostic equipment
PSV licence preferred (or ability to obtain in future)
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering a perfect product
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good communication and organisational skills
