Summary
KCH Grand Rounds: These are held once weekly for 1 hour and cover a wide variety of topics. Extramural Educational Meetings: The fellow will be provided with funds to attend at least one meeting each academic year. Each candidate must have had adequate training or experience in a General Surgical Training Program. Previous experience in Upper Gastrointestinal and / or Hepatobiliary Surgery is desirable and this post is most suitable for those who are equivalent to SPR year 5 or 6 level. Candidates who are post CCST or equivalent would also find it useful to consolidate their experience prior to looking for a consultant post. Trainee will have completed their MRCS and will have an up to date certification for Adult Life Support training.
