We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Swadlincote, DE11. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.
Job Description:
Supporting a 23 year old female who lives at home with her family, she suffers with Cerebral palsy, Epilepsy and Diabetes. She is also partially sighted. She requires support with personal care, moving and handling and medication administration.
Hours: WEEKDAY DAY NIGHTS 9pm - 9am
PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently offering sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.
Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.
Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.
What We're Looking For:
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential. Previous knowledge/experience with Epilepsy, Cerebral palsy and Diabetes would be preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
