Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Picker / Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking products from warehouse shelves, packing them securely, and preparing orders for dispatch in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets or handheld scanners
Pack items securely and label them correctly for delivery
Check product quality and report damaged or missing items
Ensure accuracy in order fulfilment (right product, quantity, and packaging)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area
Assist in loading and unloading goods when required
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements:
No formal qualifications required (warehouse experience is an advantage)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Physically fit (able to lift and move packages)
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Desirable Skills:
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or order fulfilment
Familiarity with barcode scanners or warehouse systems
Understanding of health and safety procedures
Working Conditions
Shift-based work (morning, evening, or night shifts)
May include weekend work depending on business needs
Standing and moving for long periods
Warehouse environment (can be cold, warm, or noisy depending on location)
