Summary

Sense Scotland – Support Worker – 37 hours per week

You’re someone who is patient, friendly, fun to be around and committed to making a difference. You should feel confident working 1:1 and comfortable supporting people with their everyday routines.

We’d love you to have:
>A full UK manual driving licence (essential for this role)
>A willingness to support with personal care
>Basic cooking and household skills
>Enthusiasm, empathy, reliability and a positive attitude
>Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before — we provide full training, ongoing support and all the skills you’ll need to succeed.


What you’ll be doing

>Supporting with personal care, medication and daily living
>Encouraging healthy, independent routines
>Joining in activities such as swimming, arts & crafts, pamper sessions, walks, picnics and more
>Driving people to appointments and social events


Working patterns
This is a 24 hour housing support service offering 37 hours (full time) per week. Shifts are allocated via a varied and supportive rota will include early mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, night shifts and public holidays
