Summary

We are seeking Operations Support to be based in Warrington who will have drive and commitment to develop and take on more responsibilities to support all Amentum Operations requirements within Axiom. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and live in a nearby area.

The role will be based in Warrington, Birchwood and is a full-time contract position working Monday to Thursday in the office and Friday from home at market rates.

SC Clearance is required for this role. Candidates can start with BPSS security clearance whilst higher level clearance is being undertaken.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Working in a highly regulated Team with the ability to be proactive as work arises

Able to attend Hinton House and partner offices as required Ability to produce and update EXCEL Spreadsheets for Amentum Axiom personnel ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. This may progress to Power BI - training will be given if implemented

Ensure all procedures for recruitment and security aspects are adhered to and kept updated as and when needed

Responsible for ensuring SQEP details and training is up to date for all Amentum Axiom personnel Undertake Amentum office inductions for new personnel & ensure inductions are kept up to date as well as be POC for new starter with any issues

Due to the nature of the role, a high degree of confidentiality is required due to the nature of commercial information

The candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with team members at all levels and the Customer

Work with Discipline Leads to ensure Workforce Planning is accurate and relevant - also work with Discipline leads to ensure all new starters are onboarded correctly and on their radar
Comfortable working under time constraints.

Attendance at 601 at least 3 days a week - due to the nature of the role attendance at the office may be more than stated

Work proactively with Talent hub and recruitment agencies

Ability to adapt and find solutions to issues promptly

Work closely with Security and Axiom support functions

Deputise for the Operations Manager at meetings as required or during holiday leave

Experience of working in high pressure environments with quick turn arounds required

ESSENTIAL:

Full ability to utilise all appropriate software (EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint etc) Experience in working in an Operations Environment

Proactive - working with minimal supervision

Flexible working in line with job requirements

Attention to detail

Team player is essential

People Skills Opportunities to develop and grow

DESIRABLE:

Ability to obtain Sellafield Security and SC clearance if required (Drugs and Alcohol Test will be required)
