Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEND and SEMH needs
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach
- Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
- Work collaboratively with support staff, external professionals, and families
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, or within alternative provisions such as PRUs
- Be confident in managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive outcomes
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to supporting students with complex needs
Desirable (but not essential):
- Team Teach training or similar behaviour management certification
- Experience delivering a broad, differentiated curriculum in a specialist setting
