Summary

Nursery Manager - Croydon - Up to £40,000



This opportunity is based in a purpose-built nursery in Croydon, offering spacious rooms, sensory areas, and secure outdoor spaces that support confident, independent learning.



The nursery takes a nurturing approach, blending Reggio Emilia and Forest School principles to create an environment where children are supported to explore, develop, and thrive at their own pace. We are looking for a strong Nursery Manager with a proven track record of delivering positive Ofsted outcomes and maintaining high standards.



Before you apply



  • Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above.

  • Applicants must have proven experience managing a nursery setting.

  • You must have a strong track record with Ofsted inspections and compliance.

  • Salary up to £40,000

  • 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days

What You’ll Need



  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)

  • Proven experience in a Nursery Manager role

  • Strong track record of achieving and maintaining good or outstanding Ofsted ratings

  • Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards

  • Confident leadership and organisational skills



What You’ll Do



  • Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery and maintain high operational standards

  • Ensure full compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements

  • Manage, support, and develop nursery staff performance

  • Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure readiness for inspection

  • Build strong relationships with parents and support positive outcomes for children
