We have an opportunity for a Research Nurse to join our unique OSA respiratory team at St Thomas' Hospital . This is to support the delivery at GSTT of multi-site and single site non-commercial studies. The role will involve screening, recruiting and providing intervention for various studies.
The Research Nurse will play a key role in recruiting to a novel multi-site study for patients with OSA; providing intervention and follow-up. They will ensure that the study is undertaken in a manner that safeguards the well-being of patients/research volunteers and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Amended Regulations 2006.
The post holder will be working closely with key Professors and Investigators on various studies. Our research programme is at the heart of everything we do at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and plays a vital role in helping us to consolidate and grow on our position as one of the UK’s leading research Trusts.
The post will include recruiting and delivering to interventional and observational non-commercial studies. Including working with the local team and participants direct MDT. They will also support data collection, entry and quality checking. You will be required to attend research meetings on a regular basis. You will work closely with a dynamic multi-disciplinary research team to deliver this portfolio study.
