Summary
Are you a dedicated nursing professional ready to make a difference in patient care? We are looking for individuals ready to hit the ground running and thrive in a busy medical ward based in Royal Oldham Hospital.
Deliver nursing care to the highest standards, adhering to Trust Policies and Clinical Guidelines, with a solid understanding of infection control and individualized patient care.
Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based models. Your expertise will ensure personalized, effective care for every patient.
Provide essential advice and education to patients, staff, and learners. Help develop communication, fostering collaboration within our multidisciplinary team. Handle sensitive conversations with empathy, providing support for patients and families during difficult times while helping them understand complex diagnoses.
Ensure the safe administration of medications, including IV treatments, according to Trust Policy. Build upon a range of clinical skills to support high standards of patient care, including catheterisation, venepuncture and cannulation, taking ECGs, Nasogastric tube care, and management of patients with CVCs such as PICC lines and long lines.
Support patients to be discharged from hospital in a safe and timely manner, ensuring all measures are in place to prevent long length of hospital stay.
Proven post registration experience is required for this role.
