Summary

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you
will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers to learn the skills
required to install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems. You
will gain practical on-site experience across a range of projects while completing
your formal apprenticeship training with Exeter College.

This is an excellent
opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to build a long-term career
in the plumbing and heating industry.

· Assist
qualified plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing
and heating systems

· Support
work on pipework, fittings, fixtures, water supply, drainage, and heating
systems

· Help
with testing and inspecting systems to identify leaks, faults, and
performance issues

· Learn
to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

· Communicate
effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients

· Maintain
tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised manner

· Adhere
to company and site-specific health & safety policies at all times

· Accurately
record work completed and materials used









Training
You will study at Exeter College on the Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship.

Qualifications required
4s at Maths and English GCSE (We can support you to achieve alongside the apprenticeship if required)

Prospects
By the end of the course you will be a fully qualified plumbing and heating technician.
