Personal Assistant / Carer Required – Daily Living SupportA caring and reliable Personal Assistant / Carer is required to support with daily living tasks for a sight-impaired individual.Previous experience supporting someone with visual impairment is preferred but not essential, as the right attitude, patience, and willingness to provide compassionate support are equally important.Hours:
- 32 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Preferred hours are 9:00am – 3:00pm, however some flexibility is required to accommodate appointments
- Hours may be split between two Personal Assistants
- Pay rate £12.85 for employed or £15.94 self employed.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Support with general domestic tasks
- Light cleaning and household upkeep
- Taking recycling and rubbish out
- Assistance with admin and paperwork
- Support to access the community
- Accompanying to hospital and GP appointments
- Car driver essential
- DBS check required, or willingness to complete one
- Must be comfortable working in an environment where the client smokes outside
