Summary

Are you ready to move into Senior Leadership?

Have you mastered the classroom and thrived as a Deputy or Assistant Head in a specialist setting? If you are a high-achieving educator looking for your first or next Headship, this is the career-defining move you've been waiting for.

We are looking for a dynamic, "boots-on-the-ground" leader to take accountability for a specialist school in Coalville. This is a role for a practitioner who still loves the craft of teaching but is ready to lead an entire school toward "Outstanding" status.

The Role: Impact Beyond the Classroom

In this position, you aren't just a manager; you are the architect of a learning environment where children with EHCPs can thrive. You will bridge the gap between education, therapy, and care to create a spectacular, holistic experience for every student.

What you'll achieve:

  • Cultural Leadership: Foster a harmonious, dynamic staff team where everyone-from the site manager to the therapist-is united by a single vision.

  • Curriculum Innovation: Develop a bespoke curriculum that prioritises independence, life skills, and successful transitions into adulthood.

  • Operational Excellence: Manage the school's resources, site, and budget with the support of a strong central team.

  • Mentorship: Use your experience to observe lessons and coach staff, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Who You Are

We are looking for a rising star in the SEN sector who is empathetic, versatile, and ready for a challenge.

Your Profile:

  • Experience: You have been a key member of a Senior Management Team in a specialist school.

  • SEN Expertise: You have deep knowledge of SLD and ASD issues and a passion for student-centred progress.

  • Ambition: You hold an NPQH or are eager to study for one with our support.

  • Adaptability: You aren't afraid to get stuck in-whether that's teaching a class, supporting with personal care, or managing a complex budget.

Why Step Up With Us?

This is an opportunity to lead within a group that empowers uniqueness. We provide the framework and support, but you provide the heart and the vision.

Important: We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must share this commitment and adhere to rigorous safety standards.

The clock is ticking-apply today to lead the next generation of specialist education.
