Are you a qualified Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real impact in a specialist SEN setting?

Do you want to work in a collaborative, therapeutic environment supporting pupils with complex communication needs?

A specialist SEN school in Stratford is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to support pupils with autism, speech and language delays, and SEMH. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team, delivering targeted interventions that directly improve pupils’ communication and access to learning.

You will play a key role in assessing, planning and delivering speech and language interventions, supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, while working closely with teaching staff and external professionals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and create intervention plans
  • Deliver targeted therapy sessions (1:1 and small groups)
  • Support pupils with communication and interaction needs
  • Work alongside teachers, SENCO and therapists
  • Contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
  • Provide staff training and guidance
  • Monitor progress and adapt interventions

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Holds a recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification
    • Is HCPC registered (essential)
    • Has experience with SEN, particularly ASD and speech/language needs
    • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Is passionate, patient and committed
