Summary
The Apprentice will work within the MIS & Systems department. The successful applicant will be expected to get involved in a variety of the work in the department and will be supported in their role.
The role involves supporting the provision of a range of administrative duties in order to provide an effective, efficient and responsive service. The role will include aspects of student enrolment, examination registrations, examination results.
Main Duties
• Using the college Management Information System to enquire on student details.
• Deal with day-to-day enquires from customers with regards to exams.
• To provide a clerical and administrative support service to, Exams and MIS with particular emphasis on accurate inputting of data, filing, post, ordering stationery and liaison with internal contacts.
• Assist with maintaining actuate records from enrolment through to examination results.
• Assist with the smooth running of internal and external examinations.
• To provide any other administrative duties as required by the Exams and MIS team.

• Ensure that all information is secured, used and maintained in line with internal and external standards including ensuring that confidential information is processed in line with the Data Protection Act and College policies.

• These duties may be amended from time to time by the line manager in consultation with the post holder.
Qualifications required: 4 GCSEs Grade C or above (including English Language and maths) or equivalent Level 2 qualification.
Experience in a clerical/administrative role is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficient in Windows based software including Word/Excel
Experience of using Microsoft Outlook
Personal qualities:
Good communication skills
Confident in dealing with internal/external customer queries
Ability to prioritise work
Ability to complete work to deadlines
Working week: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
