Summary


We are looking for an intuitive, enthusiastic and versatile paediatric pharmacist to join our diverse and inclusive team to help us deliver excellent compassionate care to our patients. The pharmacy department at OUH comprises of over 100 staff in the clinical pharmacy team, and we work across all 4 hospital sites. We are continually trying to improve the service we provide, learning from each other to optimise what we do.

Our neonatal unit has 54 beds, and is a large tertiary referral centre accepting our youngest patients from across the region

1. To be or become trained in the specialist area of neonatal clinical pharmacy provision

2. To be or become trained in the specialist area of TPN provision within neonates and paediatrics

3. To support the lead neonatal pharmacist in development of guidelines and monographs to support medicines management on the unit

4. To support the lead neonatal pharmacist with the introduction of standardised concentrations of infusions and injectables in line with network practice

5. To be part of the neonatal digital workstream and work closely with the neonatal digital nurse to further develop electronic prescribing on the neonatal unit.
