About the Role of Nurse Deputy Manager.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team at our clients large nursing home in Manchester.
As Nurse Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary team to oversee clinical operations, mentor nursing staff, and drive continuous improvement in resident care. You'll be instrumental in maintaining a safe, caring, and responsive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities for the Nurse Deputy Manager
Lead and support the nursing team to deliver outstanding care
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and clinical best practices
Conduct audits, risk assessments, and care plan reviews
Provide clinical guidance and training to staff
Liaise with families, GPs, and external professionals
Champion safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care
Requirements for the Nurse Deputy
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with valid NMC pin
Good track record with CQC as a Nurse Deputy Manager
Proven leadership experience in a care home or similar setting
Strong knowledge of clinical governance and regulatory standards
Excellent communication and team management skills
Passion for elderly care and enhancing quality of life
