Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated individuals who are keen to develop their skills to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Bart's Health NHS Trust offer a two-year Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship programme. This involves practical work-based learning as well as gaining underpinning knowledge to become a pharmacy professional. Support will be provided for development and training.

After successfully completing the two-year course, you will be eligible to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C/Level 4 or above and must include Maths, English Language and Science (Double Science award or two individual Sciences e.g. biology, chemistry, physics). Certificates will need to be provided prior to interview stage in order to be verified. You must also meet the apprenticeship funding requirements.

The post holder will rotate through various areas of Pharmacy including Dispensary, Community Pharmacy, Medicines Management and Medicines Distribution, Technical services GP practice and off-site partners.

You will be offered a variety of experience and training and be based at one of our four hospitals:

Royal London Hospital
St. Bartholomew's Hospital
Whipps Cross University Hospital
Newham University Hospital
