Summary
Description
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to support our sales team and help ensure the smooth running of the sales process from enquiry through to delivery and aftercare.
This is a full-time office based role, based in Newbury.
Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Support
Respond to incoming enquiries via phone, chat, and email
Prepare and issue quotations based on customer requirements
Follow up on proposals and support conversion to confirmed orders
Order Coordination
Manage handover of confirmed orders to order management team
Track progress and ensure timely delivery
Act as a key point of contact between clients and internal teams
CRM & Administration
Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation
Upload and manage project documents across internal and supplier systems
Support team and clients with sample requests, reporting, and pipeline tracking
General Support
Assist with client visits and meetings where required
Meet and greet visitors
Daily facilities tasks such as lock reception door, check all windows closed, lights off.
Contribute to wider team and business initiatives, staff events, and training
Experience & skills
Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator, comfortable handling calls and emails professionally
Proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Customer-focused with a positive, solutions-driven approach
