Summary
Ruda Holiday Park are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our holiday accommodation and facilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in general Maintenance, to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
This is a fixed term, full time (38-40 hours per week) seasonal role, with immediate start available, until mid-November with a possibility of further extensions over the winter period.
Shifts will vary between the hours of 08:00-21:00 and weekend availability is essential.
Responsibilities
Routine maintenance tasks across the site, focusing on holiday home accommodation and park facilities.
Proactive and reactive repairs based on ongoing snagging of accommodation as well as housekeeping/customer reported jobs.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures at all times during maintenance operations.
Requirements
A full driving licence will be required for the role
A range of general maintenance skills
Experience of a trade such as plumbing would be advantageous
Understanding of safe methods of work
Basic understanding of IT (tablet based job management system)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
