Summary
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and engaging Personal Assistant (PA) to provide one-to-one support for a 13-year-old young person with Autism and ADHD (AUDHD).
This is a rewarding opportunity to build a positive relationship and support a young person to access activities, develop confidence, and enjoy their time outside of school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support based on the young person's needs and interests
- Support access to community activities (days out, hobbies, social opportunities)
- Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
- Build a consistent and trusting relationship
- Follow agreed support plans and work collaboratively with the family
Candidate Requirements:
- Patient, calm, and understanding of neurodiversity
- Able to build strong, trusting relationships with young people
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable
- Experience with autism/ADHD desirable (but not essential)
- Reliable and flexible
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to own vehicle
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
