Duties of the Van Technician:
- Servicing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, including routine checks and maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing faults, replacing parts and components as necessary
- Advising Service Reception on required repairs
- Producing accurate time estimates for work carried out as a Van Technician
- Managing and maintaining detailed repair and service records
- Effectively managing workshop resources to optimise productivity
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience working with light commercial vehicles or vans
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and dedication to quality workmanship
- Previous experience within the commercial vehicle or HGV sector is advantageous
