Summary
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician/LCV Technician looking to join a reputable national company in Runcorn? Our client, a leading vehicle rental business with over 35 years of industry expertise, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to support their extensive fleet.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician/LCV Technician to develop their career within a dynamic and growth-oriented organisation, working on a diverse range of light commercial vehicles and cars.

- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, with Saturday mornings on a rota

Duties as a Vehicle Technician/LCV Technician:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and warranty work on a fleet of approximately 3,000 vehicles, including vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out repairs, part replacements, and preventive maintenance as a Vehicle Technician
- Conduct MOT preparations to ensure vehicles meet legal standards
- Maintain high standards of technical workmanship to ensure quick turnaround and customer satisfaction
- Keep accurate records of repairs and servicing
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Studies or equivalent
- Proven workshop experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with light commercial vehicles and a range of automotive systems
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify faults efficiently
- A proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
