Summary
Link3 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming primary school in NG3 Nottingham.
This is a long-term position running until the end of the academic year, working Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities- Support teaching and learning within an EYFS classroom setting
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Support children’s early development, including communication, language, and social skills
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils
Requirements- Previous experience working within EYFS or a primary school setting
- A good understanding of early years development and the EYFS framework
- Strong phonics knowledge is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
Safeguarding & Compliance- Right to Work: All candidates must demonstrate a valid Right to Work in the UK
- DBS: Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one prior to starting (cost covered by the applicant)
