IntroductionWe are looking for a reliable Production Operative with strong attention to detail to join a garment preparation team. This role involves preparing clothing items for production, ensuring machines are correctly set up, and assisting with finishing and packing customer orders.
Key Duties- Prepare garments for production, including loading correct thread colours and needles into machinery.
- Set up and support embroidery and heat press machines.
- Operate heat press equipment to apply transfers and designs.
- Ensure all materials and components are ready for production runs.
- Carry out quality checks on finished garments to ensure high standards are met.
- Pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Previous experience in clothing, textiles, or a similar production environment preferred.
- Familiarity with embroidery machines and/or heat transfer techniques highly desirable.
- Good manual dexterity and comfortable with hands-on tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Full training provided where required.
