What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:

• Servicing, inspecting and repairing HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
  
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools as an experienced HGV Mechanic
  
• Completing job cards, service records and compliance paperwork accurately
  
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient workshop environment

    What You Will Need

    To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:

    • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or LGV Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
      
    • Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
      
    • Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
      
    • Full UK driving licence — HGV licence desirable
