Summary
Secretary / Legal Support Assistant
Opportunity to work within a small dynamic team.
Excellent career move for Secretary looking to develop their experience within established Criminal Defence Law firm.
Day to day duties include:
• Proof-reading and amend outgoing letters/documents.
• Client file administration.
• Diary checking and management.
• Arranging conferences and prison visits.
• Administration of the Crown Court daily listings and liaison with the Crown Court Listing Officer to ensure client/advocate availability.
• Filter calls, update solicitors/clients/agents and take accurate messages.
• General administrative duties as required
• Compliance with Confidentiality and GDPR requirements
H&S and Fire Safety requirements:
• Fire warden / H&S duties and compliance
Experience Required:
• Working knowledge of case management software would be advantageous.
• Excellent administrative and organisation skills.
• Strong IT literacy and communication skills.
• Team player with a collaborative work ethic.
Hours of work:
09:00 to 13.00 and 14.00 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday / 35 hours per week)
Office-based role. Working from home / flexi-time are not available.
