Summary
Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Bury, BL9 based client who due to increased growth can offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operative to join their team.
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for loading machinery with powders and ensuring quality standards are met. This is a physical job which involves repetitive lifting of stock.
Hours of work: Rotating shifts. 6am-2.30pm / 2am-10.30pm
Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour
Duties:
• Day to day operations of Production
• Weighing non hazardous powders from ingredients list.
• Lifting bags of powders in to the machinery. Lifting/Manual handling involved
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines effectively.
• Ensuring raw materials and finished goods are stored safely and rotated in accordance with stock rotational system
• Eliminate potential causes of manufacturing non-conformances and strive for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed within all areas and that all shortfalls are identified and notified to the Site Manager.
Skills:
• FLT Counterbalance preferred but not mandatory. Full in house training provided
• Computer literate
• Experience in a warehouse environment, handling materials and products.
