A well-established and rapidly growing building services and environmental design consultancy, based in central London, is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

Role Overview
- Lead electrical design and coordination across a range of exciting projects
- Manage detailed design packages and oversee technical quality standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practice guidance
- Represent the consultancy in client meetings and technical discussions
- Support internal planning and quality assurance processes
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical building services design
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered or working towards chartership (IET or CIBSE)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage distribution, lighting, controls, and life safety systems
- Experience delivering coordinated multidisciplinary design through all RIBA stages
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM experience advantageous
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passion for sustainability and high-performance building design
