Summary
Connect Appointments are recruiting a Spray Painter/Prepper with experience to join our Bury based client.
What's on offer?
- A full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:45pm - with an early Friday finish
- Paid at £14.79 per hour
Working as a Spray Painter/Prepper you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a safe working environment, reporting any concerns and actively contributing to improving your work environment
- Conducting thorough inspections of completed work to identify and address any obvious finishing defects
- Operating and performing basic maintenance on Industrial airless and air-assisted spray-painting plural component mixing paint pumps
- Adhering to a quality checking system to consistently produce work of high standards
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:
- Previous experience with air assisted and airless painting systems and techniques
- Previous experience undertaking paint preparation
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team; following both written and verbal instructions
- Experience with plural component mixing paint pumps - beneficial but not required
- Previous sand blasting experience - beneficial but not required
- A valid forklift truck license - beneficial but not required
