Summary
We have an excellent opportunity for you to join Stoneywood Team to provide the best possible service to all supported individuals in a way that is meaningful, fulfilling and ensures they are an active member of their community.
Contract hours would be 154 hours per four weeks and two vacancies are available.
You should be flexible in your approach to work and be able to work as part of a rota over seven days. You must be able to work at weekends, start at 8AM and potentially finish as late as 10.30PM.
An ideal candidate should hold SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare qualification, be a team player, sensitive to the evolving needs of individuals and colleagues, can remain calm under pressure, be experienced in dealing with and managing behaviour that constitutes stress and distress, have strong communication skills to motivate other people and have an empathetic personality.

Professional qualifications are highly desirable; however, the right candidates will be supported to complete these throughout their career with us. It is desirable that applicants have experience working in a care and support environment, however all essential training will be given during induction.

• Staff bend over backwards to help me attend appointments.
Your responsibilities would include ensuring you follow the supported persons support plan and related documents, prompting medication, helping with necessary tasks which include personal care, promoting independent living within the local community and supporting individual outcome achievements.
We will require an update/registration of Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme to work with vulnerable adults and will need to ensure compliance with SSSC registration.
