We are seeking a Senior Site Supervisor to deliver a patient-focused, high-quality service to patients, staff and visitors within a unique 5-star hospital environment.

This role is central to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and meal service across both patient and non-patient areas.


We are looking for an individual who will ensure all services are delivered safely, professionally and in full compliance with food hygiene regulations, health and safety requirements, and Company and Trust procedures.

The Role

Deliver effective housekeeping and hostess services, ensuring all hygiene standards are met within the designated area and its facilities.

Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment across patient and non-patient areas, including supervising food preparation and specialised cleaning tasks where required.

Ensure the correct presentation and temperature of meals and beverages, including food probing and accurate completion of associated records.

Collect, remove and record waste safely in line with Company procedures and Trust policies.

Safely store, maintain and manage stock and supplies, ensuring availability within the designated area and collating and ordering menu choices as required.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, security, Company and Trust policies, procedures and current legislation.

Maintain confidentiality, privacy and dignity at all times in line with the Data Protection Act and Company and Trust policies.

About You

Patient-focused approach with a commitment to high standards of service delivery.

Knowledge of cleaning, hygiene and food safety standards, with the ability to work in line with Company and Trust policies.

Experience working in patient and non-patient environments, maintaining cleanliness, safety and presentation.

Ability to supervise daily housekeeping and meal service activities.

Understanding of health, safety, security and confidentiality requirements.

Professional manner, with high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Ability to use equipment safely following training and agreed procedures.

Willingness to undertake training, participate in meetings and support service improvement.
