Summary
The Neonatal unit in Truro Cornwall are looking for a bright and friendly person to join our team of ward clerks. Previous clerical experience in the health service would be desirable.
You should be organized and well-motivated person with a mature and flexible approach to your work. The post involves contact with the children and their families, so good communication skills are vital.
Provide administrative support to the ward based clinical staff.
Contribute to the effective running of the ward by concentrating on tasks which directly support administration systems and procedures.
Provide a reception service on the ward welcoming patients, visitors and staff and dealing with queries both internally and externally with the organization.
Ensure that the quality of data being managed and processed is of a high standard.
To support the Senior Nursing Staff with administrative duties
The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It serves a population of around 470,000 people, a figure that can increase significantly with visitors during the busiest times of the year. We employ approximately 6,700 staff and have a budget of approximately £740 million.

St Michael’s Hospital in Hayle
West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance
