We are seeking a Helpdesk Administrator to support Hard Services across a major corporate banking portfolio.

This role operates within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and acts as the central coordination hub for facilities and operational activity across the site.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who thrives on problem‑solving, clear communication and ownership.

The Helpdesk connects and supports activity across Hard Services, Vacant Property, ATM Support, Contractor Coordination, Purchase Orders and Complaints, ensuring requests are triaged accurately, progressed efficiently and delivered in line with service level expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of incoming service requests, triaging and allocating work to the appropriate supplier, engineer or internal team

Manage reactive jobs and PPMs from first contact through to closure, ensuring progress chasing and escalation where required

Monitor active workflows, manage jeopardy cases and escalate risks to SLA breaches

Coordinate activity across Hard Services, Vacant Property, ATM Support, Contractor Coordination, Purchase Orders and Complaints

Liaise with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring clear instructions, attendance coordination and performance tracking

Raise, issue and manage Purchase Orders, resolving supplier‑related PO or invoice queries

Support escalations and complaint investigations, gathering evidence and coordinating professional resolutions

Maintain accurate, real‑time updates, audit trails and compliance records within CAFM and internal systems

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment

Confidence liaising with engineers, suppliers and clients

Ability to manage escalations calmly and professionally

Investigative approach to out‑of‑SLA issues

High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Ability to remain calm, composed and solution-focused when handling multiple urgent requests
