Summary

Case Administrator Intensive Intervention & Risk Management Service

Please note: This vacancy offers one 0.5 FTE role.

The role is hybrid working so there is an expectation to travel to meetings, team days, and to occasionally work from the office. Someone with their own vehicle would be preferable due to the geographical location of the roles, particularly if working full time and supporting both teams.

In the South West, the OPD Pathway is made up of the South West Probation Service and five health partnerships. These are, Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Trust; Plymouth, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Partnership Trust; Devon Partnership Trust; Dorset Healthcare Trust; and Somerset Foundation Trust.

The community OPD Pathway comprises of two parts, Core OM and IIRMS. Core OM is a consultation and formulation service primarily to serve and support the practitioner. There is a primary function of workforce development through psychologically informed case discussion and reflective practice. In a limited number of instances this can extend to joint case working with an OPD practitioner.

In cases of greater complexity, risk, and where barriers to engagement are such that the likelihood of failure in the community is high; the Intensive Intervention & Risk Management Service (IIRMS) offers a range of interventions (one to one and group based). These approaches focus on social engagement, psycho-education and in a small number of cases, formal psychological intervention.

The successful candidate will be integral members of the multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring that local governance, data and administration are implemented effectively to support efficient operations. As a member of the SW OPD service, you will join a large network of professionals working to improve outcomes for a high risk cohort of probation users with complex needs. The role is available on a hybrid working basis with opportunities to work from home but an expectation of in-person attendance for core meetings at the requirement of the service lead.

If you have any questions about the roles, please contact Laura Crook, Laura.Crook1@justice.gov.uk, Senior Administration Officer and Project Support Officer for the SW OPD Pathway.
