Summary
Cheltenham Borough Council is seeking an experienced, commercially minded property leader to join us as the Head of Strategic Asset Management and Estates.
This is a senior, strategic role with genuine influence over investment decisions, portfolio performance, and long-term value creation. You will lead a diverse and dedicated team, ensuring that every asset is actively managed to maximise income, support growth, and deliver sustainable returns over the long term whilst continuing to deliver benefits to the community it serves.
Working closely with finance colleagues, senior officers, elected members, and external partners, you will ensure that the portfolio is fully aligned with the council’s corporate priorities and medium-term financial plans. This is an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the built environment of the borough.
