Summary

We are seeking for a Financial Accounts Manager to join our team. As an integral part of BCEGI, the Financial Accounts Manager will cultivate and oversee business accounts with key stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and other essential business partners. This role ensures efficient and accurate financial operations, contributing significantly to the company's overall financial stability and growth. This role focuses on company-level financial management and reporting, ensuring alignment with both UK regulatory requirements and group reporting standards.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Develop and manage business accounts and reporting processes to support BCEGI’s financial operation and business growth.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledger management, bank reconciliations and cashbook maintenance, ensuring integrity and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, generating purchase orders (POs) and goods received notes (GRNs) and conducting timely payment runs for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage accounts receivable and credit control, including monitoring outstanding balances, coordinating credit terms and payment terms, following up on payments and supporting debt recovery where required.
• Carry out and oversee general accounting and administrative functions, including regular financial reporting to Head Office; assisting budgeting, financial planning, cash flow forecasting and cost monitoring; supporting internal and external audit and tax compliance; liasing with banks and maintaining effective banking relationships.

Work Experience / Expectations
• Demonstrated deep understanding of financial practices and regulatory frameworks pertinent to international construction projects, including subcontractor management.
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated through work with complex data.
• Proficiency in financial and accounting software, and enterprise resource planning systems (e.g. Cascade, COINS, Sage, Xero or similar).
• Experience working both independently and as part of a wider finance team.
• Experience in financial accounts management, with a preference for candidates who have worked within the construction or property development industry.

Qualification / Health & Safety Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
