We are a friendly, growing domestic cleaning company looking for a reliable and detail-focused cleaner to join our team in York.
This role involves cleaning private homes on a regular basis to a high standard. You will be matched with regular customers and will build ongoing working relationships with them.
This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, weekday work that fits around school hours, family life, or other commitments.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Cleaning private homes on a regular basis
* General tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens and bathrooms
* Following a consistent cleaning routine tailored to each client
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
* Working independently and managing your time effectively
* Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday only (no evenings or weekends)
* Flexible hours — you choose the days and times that suit you
* Ideally around 10–16 hours per week (flexible for the right person)
Please note: Once your working days and hours are agreed, these will remain consistent each week, as customers rely on regular time slots.
Pay & Benefits
* £14 per hour
* Paid per clean (self-employed role)
* Regular, ongoing work with the same clients
* Flexible hours to suit your lifestyle
* Full support and guidance provided
* Trial day and training provided before starting

We are looking for someone who:
* Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail
* Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
* Is friendly and professional with customers
* Can work independently and manage their own schedule
Experience:
Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential. Full training and support will be provided — the most important thing is a willingness to learn and do a great job.
Requirements
* Must have access to a car and be able to travel between jobs
* Must live in or near York
* Must be able to commit to regular weekly hours
* Must be self-employed (or willing to register as self-employed)
