Salary: £30,906 per annum

We are looking for a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at our busy restaurant, Hotel, spa and woodland retreat in the heart of Cornwall.
Set within a tranquil natural environment, our retreat offers guests high‑quality, seasonal dining alongside exceptional wellness and hospitality experiences.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef in a fast‑paced but supportive environment, contributing to menu development and the overall success of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
• Running your section efficiently during service
• Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard
• Supporting junior kitchen team members and fostering teamwork
• Maintaining food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times
• Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising wastage
• Contributing ideas for seasonal menus using fresh, local produce
About You
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
• A genuine passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
• Able to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
• A positive, can‑do attitude and strong work ethic
