Summary
Due to long term growth and an increasing workload we have vacancy for an experienced and skilled carpenter to join our business based at our head office in Holmes Chapel, Middlewich Cheshire.
This is a permanent position with pension and holiday pay
Old English Window company has built a reputation to offer the highest quality supply of installation of Timber window installations and period window restorations to period properties in both commercial and domestic sectors throughout the South Cheshire and Northwest area
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 Years experience and be able to work alone, whilst also complementing a team of other friendly professionals within our established fitting team.
The Role will suit a reliable, self-motivated, hardworking team player, who takes pride in their work, and has a clean UK driving license.
This position is an immediate start for the right candidate, and includes daily use of a company vehicle, with fuel card to visit work sites from our offices.
Key responsibilities include:
Installation of new timber casement and sash windows, doors and door frames.
Re-glazing of existing timber window frames.
Restoration of existing timber sash windows, casement windows and doors.
Installation of new UPVc windows and doors.
Ensure high quality of installations is maintained.
Ensuring clean and tidy work ethic.
Measuring of existing doors and windows for replication.
Candidates will be required to have the following experience:
Can work consistently to a high level of quality and finishing.
Be well organised, reliable, hard working.
Work to deadlines.
Work happily within an existing fitting team.
Ability to create a clean and tidy working environment.
Excellent communication skills, and ability to deal with clients needs in a polite and friendly manner
Previous window & door installation UPVc / Timber 10 Years +
10 Years min experience in bespoke joinery
Clean uk driving license
Salary: £15.0/h - £20.0/h dependent on experience
