Pay Rate: £14.50ph / £33,500pa
Millison Chase Limited is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to drive a Volumetric Concrete Mixer Truck Driver and join a growing and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled driver seeking long-term employment with the potential for a permanent position.
This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the intention of moving successful candidates into a permanent position as quickly as possible. The standard pathway is for permanent placement after 12 weeks, although this may happen sooner depending on performance, attendance, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a HGV Class 2 volumetric concrete mixer truck
Deliver concrete to customer sites efficiently and professionally
Ensure vehicle checks are completed daily and defects reported promptly
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Provide excellent customer service on-site
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous volumetric concrete mixer experience preferred, but training will be provided.
Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
