About Us:
Rebuilding Christian Foundation Church CIO is a vibrant, community-focused Christian charity committed to serving the local area of Tottenham, North London. Operating from our base at Ferry Lane Primary School, we are dedicated to sharing the Christian faith, providing pastoral care, and meeting the practical needs of our diverse community through worship, outreach, and charitable activities.

The Role:
We seek an ordained and experienced Minister of Religion to lead our Mission and Outreach Ministry. This is a pivotal role responsible for developing and implementing the Church’s evangelism strategy, leading community engagement initiatives, and providing spiritual leadership to our congregation and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the Church’s mission and outreach strategy to engage the local community with the Christian message

Plan and deliver compelling worship services, Bible teachings, and sermons that inspire congregational growth.

Provide pastoral care, counselling, and spiritual guidance to church members and community residents.

Lead, train, and mentor a team of outreach workers and volunteers in evangelism and community service.

Develop and oversee youth, family, and community initiatives, including discipleship programmes.

Build strategic partnerships with local schools, charities, and community organisations.

Represent the Church at inter-faith and community gatherings
Support the Trustees and Church Leadership in developing the charitable objectives of the organisation.

Maintain accurate records in accordance with charity and immigration compliance requirements

Essential Requirements:

Ordained Minister with recognised theological qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s in Divinity, Theology, or equivalent ministerial training)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in pastoral ministry and mission work, preferably within an urban or multicultural context

Proven track record in evangelism, community outreach, and church growth

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with empathy for diverse communities

Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of Rebuilding Christian Foundation Church

Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

Two professional references (one must be from current or recent senior minister/religious leader)


Desirable:

Experience working with vulnerable families and youth in deprived urban areas

Knowledge of Tottenham/North London community landscape

Experience managing volunteers and small teams
