Role Overview
CareeGrow is conducting this hiring process on behalf of a client company. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day transactional accounting activities across a portfolio of clients. This is a primarily remote role, with occasional in-person attendance required for onboarding, training sessions, client meetings, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Process purchase invoices from start to finish
Manage supplier accounts, aged creditors, and resolve queries
Run payment cycles and perform bank reconciliations
Handle sales ledger activities and credit control
Manage expenses and company credit cards
Oversee client inboxes and provide support to the wider finance team
Requirements
Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role preferred
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across different systems
Confident communication skills when dealing with clients and suppliers
Fluent English (required)
Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
